Paul is the National Partner in Charge of KPMG Australia's Finance Advisory services. For more than 20 years, Paul has delivered a wide range of advisory, audit and assurance services to large Australian banks, government agencies, a large property developer and corporate clients.
Key engagements Paul has worked on include:
- Leading a large team to develop all the new regulatory returns for a major Australian bank to submit to the regulator as part of the Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS) Program. Project also including developing target operating model and developing the controls and governance around the new regulatory returns.
- Completed a 7-month secondment to a government agency as Acting Chief Financial Officer.
- Completed a review of finance functions at a corporate client to improve efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes relating to both statutory and month end reporting.
- Established and ran a finance function for a new entity which was set up as result of a sale of government business.
