As the Lead Partner for the National Security & Justice sector for KPMG Australia, Monique understands the unique operating environment of national security and justice sector agencies, and the challenges they face. She is passionate about continuing to contribute to this sector by bringing KPMG’s specialist skills and capabilities to support the capability development and transformation of her clients.

Throughout her career, Monique has spent more than 25 years working in both the public and private sectors. She spent 10 years as a member of the Senior Executive Service in the Federal Government and was a Senior Advisor in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio, leading corporate, capability development and geographic areas. She led major programs of work across the portfolio which included directing public affairs in AusAID, Australia’s former overseas aid agency.

Monique also spent 15 years in the private sector, working in strategic communications, public relations and event management in Asia, primarily in China.

In August 2018, Monique joined KPMG as a Partner based in the Canberra office.
