Project Manager, Climate Risk

KPMG Australia

James is a data scientist within KPMG’s Actuarial & Financial Risk team. He has worked with government, corporate and financial service clients, building models to transform data into tangible and actionable insights.

James specialises in modelling climate risks and leads projects to assist clients in quantifying their physical and transition risk exposures, using a combination of bespoke analysis and KPMG’s global tools. These quantification projects are a key stepping stone for clients in their journey towards effective climate reporting, strategy development and resilience building. James is a member of the Australian product ownership team for Climate IQ, KPMG’s global scenario analysis tool, and is supporting the ongoing development of climate risk solutions for new clients and industries.

James joined KPMG in 2021, having previously worked in General Insurance roles.
