She has a strong focus on technology-based innovation and leads KPMG’s national R&D tax technical team.
Georgia’s focus on policy and implementation has seen her involved in Government consultations on legislation and guidance relevant to innovation (especially as applicable to technology based industries). Georgia’s client base ranges from early stage startups through to some of Australia’s largest ASX 200 companies.
A fully qualified lawyer and is a member of the Victorian Bar, Georgia advises on IT and privacy related matters. She has consulted to government and private industry on policy, information privacy law, information management and IT security. Georgia has also been involved in Liberty Victoria (civil liberties), Cure Brain Cancer Foundation (cancer research), Stone & Chalk (national non-profit innovation hub) and EnergyLab (national non-profit cleantech accelerator).
