Richard has extensive experience in the identification of risk, strengthening internal control and enhancing operational performance for leading organisations. Throughout his career, which includes extended periods across the globe, he has blended his Chartered Accounting background with his experience in optimising business process to assist global clients in achieving their goals.

As National Leader for KPMG Australia’s Risk Assurance team, Richard’s primary objective is to empower a high calibre team of Risk professionals to deliver unrivalled client service.

Previously, Richard was Treasurer and Board Member of Ronald McDonald House Parkville and a founding member of the annual MayDay charity event in Melbourne.

Outside of work, Richard and his wife Fiona are devoted parents to two daughters. He also enjoys playing tennis and golf and is a die-hard Essendon supporter.
