Focuses on tax administration measures to support effective implementation of tax measures

The Minister of Finance on July 23, 2024, presented the 2024 mid-year budget review to parliament.

The 2024 mid-year budget focuses on tax administration measures to support the effective implementation of tax measures already enacted, particularly those related to digital solutions.

However, the 2024 mid-year budget also proposed exempting active pharmaceutical inputs and finished products from value added tax (VAT) and re-introducing road and bridge tolls.
