Rolf joined KPMG in March 2000 after having worked for almost 10 years with another audit company, where Rolf was in the valuation and due diligence team. At KPMG, Rolf is working in the valuation services department. Between 2005 and 2009 he spent four years in Transaction Services. Having worked in Corporate Finance and Transaction Services Rolf has gained a lot of experience along the transaction chain. Rolf performed and managed many business valuations as well as valuations of intellectual property and other intangible assets in the context of sell side and buy side mandates, for financial reporting (IFRS and US GAAP) and tax planning, for disputes and arbitrations.
He regularly provides fairness opinions and other independent valuation services. He managed many multinational cross boarder valuation engagements for global players, privately owned companies, as well as private equity firms. Rolf regularly assists audit teams with reviews of business valuations, financial models, purchase price allocations, impairments tests and other valuation work prepared by companies or third party appraisers. As a local lead partner Rolf is also the trusted business advisor for all issues of his customers in the region Zurich.
