Reto Kaufmann joined KPMG’s Audit Corporates department in 2000 and is responsible for non-profit organizations (NPOs) in the German-speaking portion of Switzerland.
He oversees audits of and relationship management work for non-profit organizations with national and international activities. Reto possesses an in-depth understanding of the environment surrounding Swiss associations and foundations that prepare their accounts in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER 21 and/or Swiss law.
As a member of KPMG’s core NPO team, Reto works together with a select group of employees that closely monitors developments in the NPO sector. He also conducts lectures on the subject at a variety of events.
Reto is a highly experienced auditor of medium-sized and large real estate companies as well as consumer products corporations. He is very knowledgeable about consolidations, coordinating international audit teams and preparing reader-friendly reports and also well-versed on matters concerning capital market transactions and accounting under IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.
