Gaurav is a Swiss employment lawyer who regularly advises national and international clients on all aspects of employment law and related matters, particularly on the drafting of employment and assignment agreements (incl. restrictive covenants), employee handbooks, policies, termination agreements, the drafting and design of bonus and equity-based compensation plans as well as on topics such as staff leasing, mass dismissals and work permits. He also assists buyers and sellers with HR due diligences in M&A transactions and the transfer of employees. Gaurav also supports clients during labor inspections.

Gaurav has an in-depth understanding of the operational, commercial and legal needs of modern HR and legal departments as well as the practices of different industries. He also has a strong focus on interdisciplinary and international HR legal issues. Prior to joining KPMG, Gaurav worked at a top-tier business law firm in Zurich for several years.

Gaurav is a member of several professional associations, in particular the Zurich Bar Association, including its employment law expert group, the Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC), and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). In addition, he is a lecturer for the CAS Global Mobility Management program at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).
