The Public Revenue Authority in Greece on January 22, 2025, updated the process for filing and reporting withheld taxes to incorporate simultaneous declaration and payment of digital transaction fees, effective for payments made on or after December 1, 2024.

In addition, the government on January 16, 2025, unveiled the "Cash Rebate GreeceFTV" initiative aimed at incentivizing production of audiovisual projects within Greece. The initiative offers a tax rebate equal to 40% of eligible production expenses (including salaries, equipment rentals, and location fees), not exceeding 80% of total production cost.
