The IRS on October 3, 2024, released the initial list of entities and branches with qualified intermediary (QI) status.

QIs need to review the list to confirm their information is accurate and update any inaccurate information using the update features on their Qualified Intermediary Application and Account Management System (QAAMS) page.

If QIs consider their QAAMS account information accurate, but not properly reflected on the list, or they or one or more of their branches should be on the list but are not, they can email the FI Team.
