The tax authority announced the start of the first pilot phase of the e-invoicing and electronic tax devices mandate.

The tax authority of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on September 5, 2024, announced the start of the first pilot phase of the electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) (Facture Normalisee) and electronic tax devices mandate.

Starting September 15, 2024, businesses that meet specific criteria set by the tax authority will be required to comply with the mandate. To facilitate the implementation, the tax authority has approved the use of "e-UF" devices for businesses without invoicing software and "e-MCF" devices for those with e-invoicing software. The tax authority has assembled a dedicated team to offer assistance and training to the selected businesses during this transition.
