Victoria’s tax authority issued updated advice on its waiver of payroll taxes for eligible employers as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Victoria’s tax authority issued updated advice on its waiver of 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 payroll taxes for eligible employers as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The waiver ends on June 30, 2024, except in relation to taxable wages for the relevant years resulting from requests made by an employer or their representative to the tax authority, or investigations commenced by the tax authority, before July 1, 2024.
