No changes to individual tax rates
The 2024 provincial budget for Saskatchewan was delivered on 20 March 2024.
The budget does not include any changes to the individual (personal) tax rates, but it proposes:
- Delaying to 1 July 2025 (from 1 July 2024) a planned increase to 2% (from 1%) in the small business income tax rate
- Introducing new tax credits for the oil and gas and mining industries
- Enhancing or extending tax credits for start-ups and intellectual property (IP)
- Introducing administrative measures intended to address consumption tax compliance issues
