Qualifying entities must report annually on their efforts to mitigate and prevent the risk of child labor and forced labor in their business activities and supply chains. The first reporting deadline is May 31, 2024.

Public Safety Canada in December 2023 published a new webpage—“Forced Labour in Canadian Supply Chains”—that provides guidance, resources, and reporting criteria on the “Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act.”
