Cameron Taheri is a principal in the KPMG Transfer Pricing Dispute Resolution Services practice. Cameron focuses on resolving transfer pricing disputes on behalf of multinational corporations, including advance pricing agreements, competent authority settlements, examination, and appeals. He analyzes U.S. income tax treaties to provide clients with double tax relief on non-transfer pricing issues like permanent establishment, foreign tax credits and income sourcing, and characterization. He also assists clients with navigating IRS Examination and appeals including responding to Information Document Requests and preparing protest letters.
Cameron's experience includes a broad range of transactions and industries; including consumer goods, oil and gas, automotive, life-science, financial services and technology companies, with an emphasis on intangible transfers, cost sharing transactions, and high-value services.
Cameron holds a JD degree from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from University of Texas.
