Stephen recently joined KPMG with more than 25 years of experience in employee benefits, including 20 years at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where he spent his last 9 years as the Deputy Associate Chief Counsel (Employee Benefits). Stephen is responsible for a range of compensation and benefits topic areas including executive compensation arrangements, fringe benefits, qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans. In that capacity he provides technical advice to assist with tax compliance, plan design and implementation, and transactional structuring and due diligence.
