Partner, Global Head of People and HR CoE

Ruth is a trained organisational psychologist and Global Head of KPMG’s People and HR CoE. Ruth started her career working in management due diligence for private equity buyouts. This gave her an early understanding of how the effective application of behavioural science can significantly increase an organisation’s valuation. Her knowledge of how people drive value in business has been central to her success while at KPMG. For the last 20 years she has applied this knowledge to multiple global transformation programmes she has led with some of KPMG’s largest clients. Her role often involves coaching the C- Suite team through the transformation and leading the implementation of solutions which range from operating model change, learning and skills transformation, workforce shaping and behavioural change management. Ruth has worked across our Corporate (Anglo American, BP, BAE, Coca Cola) Financial Services (Barclays, HSBC) and Government clients. She is a published thought leader and respected authority on how organisations can maximise their people’s performance with points of view, podcasts and research published with the Financial Times, FT Business Connect, Times, Accountancy Daily and the Journal of Business Psychology.
