George Spakouris

George is a managing director with KPMG and has more than 15 years of experience advising on corporate finance transactions, privatizations, corporate & debt restructurings and project financings in Europe and the US.
George joined KPMG’s Athens practice in 2001 where he focused on transactions in South East Europe across a wide range of sectors. In 2005 he moved to the US where he was mainly engaged in assisting clients develop large capital programs and execute transactions primary in the transportation infrastructure space.
George has significant experience in strategy, procurement, financial analysis and modeling, investment appraisal, financial/ commercial due diligence, capital budgeting, alternative delivery and P3s, valuations, capital raising, structuring of project financing and negotiation of term sheets, debt restructurings, credit ratings process, strategic advice, and business term development and negotiation.
