Nora Solano

Nora is a partner at KPMG Mexico, where she is responsible for overseeing the performance and quality of our services in the Mexico GMS practice. Additionally, she holds the positions of Central American Region Leader and LATAM Region co-leader for GMS.
With over 26 years of experience in the GMS practice, Nora specializes in providing individual assignment planning, compliance, and advisory services to both national and multinational corporations. Her expertise lies in navigating tax and immigration considerations related to assignment programs and new work modalities.
In addition to her role in the GMS practice, Nora also serves as the Ombudsperson for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity at KPMG Mexico. Throughout her career, she has worked with clients from various industries, including consumer goods, air transportation, automotive, retail, services, logistics, transportation, distribution, manufacturing, food, tourism, construction, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, mining, energy, and banking.
Nora's current responsibilities encompass providing personalized attention to high-level executives, offering tax and immigration advisory and compliance assistance for expatriates and new work modalities, conducting compliance, advisory, and training on shadow payroll structures, analyzing corporate tax implications for companies with mobility programs, and providing advisory services for equity-based compensation plans and assignment planning.
She has also served as a local instructor for KPMG Mexico training courses and has actively participated in national and international conferences dedicated to the field of international workforce.
