Kristin N Ridgway

Kristin is a partner in the KPMG Business Tax Services practice serving clients in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She has more than 18 years of experience providing tax and business advisory services to both public and privately held companies. Kristin specializes in tax compliance and tax provision issues and has worked in a broad range of industries, including gaming, consumer markets, healthcare, and entertainment.

Kristin has significant exposure to and experience with corporate tax compliance with a particular focus on consolidated tax returns and large engagement management. She also has experience in the following areas: foreign filing requirements, state & local taxation, tax accounting periods & methods, research & development credits, IRS & state audit support, tax consulting on mergers & acquisitions and experience in coordinating with international offices to serve global clients.

Proficient in ASC 740, Kristin serves as the lead director on a number of tax provision engagements, reviewing KPMG SEC audit client tax provision computations and financial statement disclosures. Her experience also includes provision preparation and overall tax component management of several domestic and international tax provisions.

Kristin has advised on a wide range of complex tax matters relating to her clients’ businesses, providing both tax due diligence and tax structuring advice. In addition, she has helped multiple clients identify opportunities for tax department transformation with a focus on strategic tax planning, efficient processes and technology solutions.
