After several years in KPMG’s Bay Area Accounting Methods and Credit Services (AMCS) Practice, Rachael Moore joined the Tax Credit and Energy Advisory Services within KPMG’s Washington National Tax Practice in Washington D.C.
Rachael has substantial technical experience from her work in both an academic and professional setting. While employed at a university in Texas, Rachael started her career performing applied research through clinical trials, laboratory testing, and experimental data collection. In addition, Rachael performed extensive technical literature reviews for grant and scientific journal submissions.
Rachael’s technical experience lends itself well to understanding project life cycles across a multitude of industries and tax incentives. Her experience as a project manager helps her clients receive benefits with minimal disruption to company personnel. Rachael’s technical background and knowledge of ever-evolving tax policies helps ensure her clients receive both a personal and professional understanding that is appreciated as well as relied upon.

With this expertise, Rachael provides tax consulting services on a wide array of tax incentives including the Research and Development Tax Credits, Investment Tax Credits, Production Tax Credits, Work Opportunity Tax Credits, Orphan Drug Credit, New Markets Credit, and Opportunity Zones.
