Jeff Millen

Jeff is the U.S. Private Equity Tax Industry Leader and a partner in our Alternative Investments Tax Practice. He leads KPMG engagement teams that provide tax consulting and compliance services to alternative investment funds and investment advisors. He regularly advises clients regarding the impact of changes in the legislative and regulatory landscape. Recently, Jeff has assisted clients seeking to work through changes brought about by H.R. 1, originally known at the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Tax reform has caused funds to think in a new way about issues like carried interest planning and non-U.S. investing.

In Jeff’s role as Private Equity Tax Industry Leader for KPMG, he regularly interacts with colleagues and clients from around the country to identify best practices and gather insights into difficult issues. In this role, Jeff is also responsible for driving the technical and training agenda for the private equity tax practice and aligning with other industries to deliver value to our clients.
