Nick Mikulka

Nick is a Senior Associate in KPMG Healthcare and Life Science Strategy practice, primarily focused in the Transaction Execution pillar. He has supported in the separation assessment and diligence of a $5bn healthcare organization that spun-off a large segment of their business. He also helped to lead the Separation Management Office (SMO) and Day 1 Readiness planning.

Prior to joining the transactions space, Nick implemented Workday across several Healthcare organizations along with Financial Services and Telecommunications. He has extensive experience in working with the Finance and Accounting functions, and their reporting and processes. Nick facilitated, led, and designed the Foundation Data Model (FDM) and Financial Accounting functional areas, which drive the basis of financial transformation and multi-dimensional reporting, for one of the largest Children’s Healthcare organizations in the country. In designing the FDM, Nick took into account the Record to Report Powered Enterprise methodology along with the consideration of the critical stakeholders across the organization, which includes members from Finance, HCM, Payroll, and Supply Chain.
