Marcus Melton is a managing director in KPMG’s Federal Advisory practice and has over 25 years of experience working in Federal and local government. Marcus leads multiple complex advisory engagements deploying multi-disciplinary teams. In addition to providing client service, he designed methodologies and instructed both internal and external trainings. Marcus is a member of AGA and AFERM and has authored articles for both the AFERM newsletter and AGA Journal. Marcus is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Government Finance Manager and RIMS-Certified Risk Management professional. He has a BA in Accounting from Huntingdon College and a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University.
