Rodrigo is the managing partner of the KPMG Miami office. He has almost 30 years of experience in public accounting and has an extensive background serving large public companies.
Professional and Industry Experience
As the Miami office managing partner, Roddy is responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s strategic direction across Miami and South Florida. In this role, he oversees the delivery of high-quality client services, guides marketplace strategy and drives cross-functional quality growth. Roddy is also responsible for advancing KPMG culture, ethics and integrity, innovation, and diversity, equity and inclusion. In addition, Roddy represents the firm and the Miami office in the business and philanthropic communities as an Orange Bowl Committee Member and member of the board of directors for Voices for Children.
Rodrigo’s past and current client portfolio includes serving as partner on several KPMG premier clients in the southeast, Autonation, Inc., Darden Restaurants, and Ryder System Inc., Fortune 150/500 companies and SEC registrants. He currently serves as the lead engagement partner on AutoNation, Inc., a Fortune 150 company and largest Automotive retailer in the US. He recently served as the lead partner Darden Restaurants, a Fortune 500 company and premier full service dining company. Rodrigo has also previously served as lead engagement partner on Terremark Worldwide, a provider of managed information technology infrastructure services offering colocation, managed hosting, network management and cybersecurity services.
Rodrigo’s responsibilities within KPMG include planning and performing financial statement audits and quarterly reviews for publicly and privately held companies, Sarbanes Oxley attestation on internal control over financial reporting, review of reports for SEC filings, and performance of acquisition audits and due diligence procedures. Rodrigo has extensive experience with large complex transactions including spin-offs, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, and initial and secondary public offerings. Rodrigo plays an active role in the KPMG professional practice group by regularly participating in the KPMG quality review program, performing audit quality reviews of international and domestic KPMG offices as well as peer reviews of other Big 4 firms.
