Amy is a Director in KPMG LLP’s Risk Strategy and Compliance service line with over 11 years of experience serving some of the leading entities in the financial services industry. She has delivered large-scale, enterprise-wide transformational projects, performing assessment, design, implementation, testing, monitoring, remediation, and PMO related services for regulatory, compliance, and risk driven initiatives, and most recently has been assisting organizations integrate and scale automated solutions into their respective risk, compliance, and testing programs.
Amy’s previous accomplishments and endeavors include:
- Assisted a top 10 domestic bank’s internal audit function to identify and assess opportunities for automation solutions, including establishing assessment methodology and prioritization framework and developing and implementing three use cases, to increase the efficacy and efficiency of their testing program through various technologies (i.e., RPA, ML, NLP, and workflow automation).
- Led the design and implementation of an IFRS 9 / CECL SOX control program for a complex, top global bank which included performing a current state assessment, design, enhancement, implementation, testing, and documentation of controls to achieve SOX compliance as they transitioned to the new credit loss accounting standard.
- Led efforts to identify and document the lineage of critical risk and finance data elements for a complex, top global bank’s retail and wholesale lines of business in accordance with their data management policy to ensure completeness and accuracy of model development and financial reporting.
- Led assessments of internal controls over financial reporting and compliance controls pertaining to various regulatory requirements for asset management, investment management businesses for a period of five+ years. Control assessments included the identification of key process risks and controls, control testing and re-design and remediation.
