Jedidiah Marshall

Jed has over 22 years of experience in the Investment Management industry. Jed has a BS in Accounting from Bryant University, with a minor in History. Jed is a CPA licensed in the state of MA and a member of the AICPA and Massachusetts Society of CPA’s.

Professional and industry experience

Jed specializes in providing tax services to Regulated Investment Companies and Hedge Funds. Prior to joining KPMG, Jed’s previous tax experience included management and leadership positions within the public accounting industry. Jed is currently responsible for tax compliance services for his clients. Jed works extensively on the JPMorgan tax outsourcing engagement providing tax services to JPMorgan’s clients.

Technical skills

Jed has extensive tax experience leading large audit/tax engagements for Mutual fund and Hedge fund clients.

Jed also has extensive tax technical experience in many areas of the Investment Management industry, including, but not limited to, loss limitations related to fund mergers and ownership changes, tax treatment for complex securities/derivatives, PFICs, partnerships and redemptions-In-Kind.

Non-profit board affiliations: Treasurer for The Friends of Historic Hopedale, Inc. since 2012.
