Gloria LaBerge

Gloria is a Senior Manager in the International group ofor the KPMG Washington National Tax practice. Her practice focuses on the tax aspects of treasury activities, transactions, and structures. She advises on issues relate to foreign currency and debt restructuring as well as cash pooling and centralized cash management systems. Gloria’s professional experience prior to joining KPMG includes working in the tax department of a Fortune 10 company and the national tax office of another international tax services firm.

Professional and industry experience

Gloria has experience with tax issues facing a wide range of companies from Fortune 500 multinationals to start-ups in a variety of industries, including energy, pharmaceuticals, and technology. Prior experience includes:

• Advising companies across a broad range of industries on the foreign currency consequences and related tax implications of various transactions.
• Advising on cash pooling and treasury functions.
• Advising on internal financing and distribution planning. 
• Advising both borrowers and holders on the taxation of debt restructurings.
• Advising multinational clients on cross-border M&A transactions, post-acquisition integration, and global restructurings.
• Advising inbound and outbound clients broadly on U.S. income tax considerations.
