Martha Klasing

Martha is a Tax Partner in KPMG’s Washington National Tax Practice.  She has over 28 years of experience and specializes in the international tax issues that arise with respect to U.S. expatriates and foreign national taxpayers and the cross border transfer of employees.

Martha serves as KPMG’s lead U.S. technical resource for the Firm’s Global Mobility Service’s practice.  In her role, she advises a broad range of clients across all industries with respect to the cross-border transfer of employees.  She has served as the lead GMS engagement partner for several clients of the Firm, including leaders in the hospitality, defense, and information, communication, and entertainment industries.  During her career, Martha served as a member on KPMG’s tax strategy committee and was awarded KPMG’s Global Excellence Award in recognition of her commitment to excellence in serving KPMG’s Global client base. Prior to settling in the DC metro area, Martha worked in KPMG’s St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Paris, France offices.
