Tammy Hunter leads the KPMG Tax practice as the partner in charge across the firm’s 13 Southeast offices in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Puerto Rico, and Tennessee. Throughout her career, she has advised numerous clients with their state and local tax issues including mergers and acquisition assistance, nexus reviews, audit assistance, tax provision reviews, incentives, and other special projects.
Prior to leading our Southeast Tax practice, Tammy was the national co-leader of the KPMG Corporate Tax Compliance & Transformation practice, where she assisted clients reimagine their tax function by meeting the needs of their organizations and working alongside them by developing a future-state target operating model for their tax department.
