Tom Horton has more than 10 years of experience in compliance and consulting matters relating to U.S. federal and international taxation. He has worked with both inbound and outbound clients across a variety of industries assisting them with domestic and international tax compliance, global restructuring, financial modeling, supply chain planning, and value chain management projects.
Tom currently serves one of the KPMG leaders in the development and deployment of numerical models that calculate the effect of the domestic and international U.S. tax reform provisions and provide for scenario planning to assess the impact of such provisions on a client’s effective tax rate (ETR). In addition, he works with the KPMG Tax Ignition practice to develop analytical and data visualization reports to provide clients with key insights and assist them in effectively communicating their post-tax reform ETR drivers to stakeholders.
Tom received a BBA degree in accounting and an MS degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
