Fred Hensel is a Principal consultant and the lead partner for the Federal Supply Chain Advisory practice for KPMG with more than 25 years of consulting and industry experience. Fred specializes in providing subject matter expertise and team leadership in technology-enabled Supply Chain Transformation including analyzing strategic options, recommending strategies based on leading practices and benchmarks, developing implementation plans, and assisting with implementation of recommendations for optimizing the supply chain.

Fred has served in multiple capacities in both the consulting and manufacturing industries, having worked for Sony Electronics and Alcoa Wheel and Forged Product prior to joining KPMG in 2008. His consulting career also included an earlier employment with KPMG Consulting and BearingPoint, where he learned multiple methods and approaches to implement large-scale technology as well as a broader set of management consulting problem-solving skills. Recently, at KPMG, Fred has worked in multiple industries, including Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, and Telecommunications, as well as serving several State and Local government clients.
