Jacques Harmse joined the KPMG State and Local Tax practice in 2019 to help establish a local presence in Dallas, TX for the International Indirect Tax group. Prior to joining KPMG, he was a global indirect tax director with another Big 4 firm. Jacques has more than 12 years of experience in indirect tax, advising both public and privately held clients across many industries. He assists with global indirect tax consulting services covering VAT/GST and other similar transaction taxes, indirect tax controversy, reverse audit services for VAT, supply chain review and restructuring, and M&A indirect tax structuring consulting, due diligence, and implementation.
