Karim Haddad

Karim Haddad has close to 15 years of experience in the financial assessment, procurement, and evaluation of infrastructure projects, specifically in Public Private Partnerships. He also has significant experience in providing financial advisory services to critical infrastructure sectors in terms of structuring and executing financing transactions, and negotiating commercial agreements.
For the last two years, Karim has been focusing his efforts on the broadband sector, where he has successfully worked on the execution of a number of financial transactions related to middle mile projects. More recently Karim has been focusing on providing support to state broadband offices in designing their broadband programs and help them meet the requirements to receive federal funding for the implementation of their broadband programs.
Prior to his current role at KPMG, Karim worked at EY, where he provided advisory services to both public and private clients on strategic, procurement, financial, and public-private partnership issues related to infrastructure projects and programs. Additionally, Karim was previously employed as a Project Finance Manager at Excelerate Energy in Houston, where he was responsible for project deal structuring and execution of third-party financing, primarily non-recourse debt transactions. He also worked in the UAE with one of the large industrial investment companies in Abu Dhabi, where he was engaged in analyzing business opportunities and developing feasibility studies to determine project profitability of greenfield projects.
Karim holds an MBA from Cornell University, a Master’s degree in Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
