Blair Gowasack is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Mergers and Acquisitions Tax practice based in Atlanta since July 2016. She advises domestic, multinational, and foreign corporations on the tax consequences of corporate restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcies. Additionally, she is a member of the M&A Legal Entity Rationalization (LER) practice, advising clients on optimizing their organizational structures. Blair previously has focused on troubled company analysis, including Section 382 computations, attribute reduction, transaction costs analysis, and stock basis computations.
Blair earned her J.D. from Georgia State University and her LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Blair is a licensed attorney in Georgia.
