Darcie Garza

Currently serving as an audit senior manager in the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) in New York.  Darcie’s responsibilities primarily relate to insurance and include: serving as a firm resource on various technical accounting and financial reporting topics, advising audit teams on complex and emerging accounting issues, monitoring the FASB long-duration contracts targeted improvements standard, developing and presenting on US GAAP, and assisting audit teams in applying KPMG’s audit methodology.

Prior to DPP, Darcie served in the KPMG Audit practice where she provided accounting and internal control advice to publicly-traded and privately held domestic companies in the Dallas and Seattle offices.
