Ramon Frias

Ramon is a Senior Manager in the State and Local Tax group for the KPMG Washington National Tax practice. He brings over a decade of experience in VAT/GST  from his tenure as a tax official in a foreign tax administration. Ramon’s experience extends to more than 15 years of assisting companies in complying with their global VAT and excise taxes. He is also an experienced attorney, specializing in indirect taxes, particularly within the Latin American and European markets. His current focus is on monitoring global legislative changes and assessing their potential impact on businesses.

Ramon has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Santo Domingo Autonomous University, Dominican Republic and a Certificate Degree in Taxation from Harvard University.
