Adam is a senior associate in KPMG’s Advisory Services practice with more than 7 years of management advisory and business experience. He has a strong background in the engineering and construction industry servicing oil & gas companies, large land developers, and municipalities.  As a registered professional civil engineer with extensive knowledge of water quality and chemistry, Adam is respected as a subject matter expert regarding environmental and water resource related issues.

Professional and Industry Experience

Adam spent the first 7 years of his career leading a boutique consulting firm providing construction design, environmental compliance, and field management services to numerous constituents.

• Coordinated and managed multiple related consulting projects between 3 professional service departments and 8 consulting professionals.
• Created internal pricing models and business plans to ensure competitive pricing, strategic fit, and proper profit margin, including a change in strategy for an established product that resulted in a ~20% increase in product revenue.
• Developed and negotiated third-party strategic relationships with regional engineering firms to differentiate product and service offering.
• Advised and presented to Texas engineering community and municipal boards of directors on water quality related issues with venues ranging from 5-person workshops to 50-person seminars.
• Delivered sales growth through sales effort which analyzed existing contracts for possible growth opportunities and developing sales plan that led to an increase in annual contract revenue of 77% in 2 years.
• Identified potential clients through strategic marketing by forecasting population changes in the 2010 census and developing a marketing plan, resulting in 120% increase in client base in 3 years.
