Steve Fortier is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the KPMG US Tax Practice, focusing on the development and execution of the Tax Talent strategy. His responsibilities include differentiating KPMG’s recruiting efforts, transforming how KPMG’s professionals are trained, developing innovative career management tools, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment, and driving a proactive coaching culture for almost 6,500 partners and professionals across all tax service lines. Steve is also a Senior Partner in KPMG’s Global Transfer Pricing Services practice, leading global transfer pricing projects to assist major multinational clients in meeting their business and tax objectives. Prior to becoming COO, Fortier lead KPMG Tax’s Strategic Investments and Innovation team.
