Dana Foote

Dana Foote is the National Managing Partner for Audit Operations at KPMG US. She spearheads strategic operational priorities that enable the firm to scale its industry-leading platforms, innovative technology (including KPMG Clara and AI), talented partners and professionals and deep sector knowledge to drive growth for the firm and deliver an exceptional audit experience for clients and professionals.

With a career spanning almost 30 years, Dana most recently served as the Audit National Head of Markets for KPMG US, where she led strategic efforts on how KPMG goes to market to unlock value in our pursuits, leveraging the power of our people’s industry experience and leading technology capabilities to deliver quality audits and deeper insights for our clients. She has also served as a Lead Audit Engagement Partner, SEC Reviewing Partner and Account Executive for a number of the firm’s largest clients (many of which are listed as Fortune 500). As the former West Region Professional Practice Partner, she operationalized Audit strategy and led transformation programs to optimize service delivery in support of audit quality.

A trusted voice on operational excellence and quality enhancement, Dana brings a proactive approach to data-driven insights and continuous improvement frameworks. She is a champion of innovating the audit approach and delivering industry insights, defining how KPMG responds to both emerging risk and client expectations with agility and technical authority.

A committed advocate for culture and inclusion, Dana co-founded and previously co-chaired the KPMG Abilities in Motion Business Resource Group, which serves partners and employees with apparent or non-apparent disabilities or children with special needs. She also co-founded and co-chaired the Women Corporate Directors Kansas City chapter. Her board leadership on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Special Olympics reflects her passion for community stewardship and health and wellness.
