Dana Foote serves as Audit – Head of Markets for KPMG US, leading strategic efforts on how KPMG goes to market, leveraging the power of our partners’ and professionals’ industry expertise, along with our leading technology capabilities, to unlock value in our pursuits while ensuring that we deliver an exceptional audit experience for our clients.
Dana has over 27 years of experience including serving as a Lead Audit Engagement Partner (LAEP), SEC Reviewing Partner and as an Account Executive on a number of the firm’s largest clients, many of which are listed as Fortune 500. Dana previously served as the West Region Professional Practice Partner where she had operational accountability and responsibility for implementation of the audit strategy and plan.
She is passionate about service to the not-for-profit community, particularly focused on the health and wellness community. She serves as a board member for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society as well as the Mid-America chapter for the National MS Society and has served on a chapter board of the Special Olympics. She also invests in KPMG culture by developing and implementing people-focused initiatives to support the wellbeing of our professionals and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace. She was the co-founder and co-chair for the KPMG Abilities in Motion (“AIM”) Network serving our partners and employees with a disability or children with special needs, she leads the KPMG Community Impact committee for the National MS Society, has led the Lead Account Talent program for advancing women as lead partners on the firm’s public audit clients and is the co-Founder and co-Chair of Women Corporate Directors, Kansas City Chapter.
