Maya Elia
Sr Associate Advisory, ESG Hub
Maya works in the ESG Advisory practice at KPMG, helping clients with their ESG strategies and supporting the development of the firm’s ESG go-to-market offerings. She has supported organizations throughout their sustainability journeys, from materiality assessments and initial greenhouse gas inventories to multi-year ESG reporting. In addition to engagement delivery, Maya is also the US Co-Chair for Leaders 2050, a network of future leaders focused on driving positive change. Through her involvement with the organization, she is helping to enable youth engagement in the sustainability field.
Maya is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree of Sustainability through the Harvard Extension School (’25). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, where she studied Business and Enterprise Management with a concentration in Sustainable Consulting. Maya’s passion for the natural environment has led her to a career and higher degree in sustainability. She is particularly interested in decarbonization, biodiversity, and circularity. Through her professional and academic work, she strives to encourage youth engagement in sustainability and inspire the next generation of sustainability leaders.
