Senior Manager, International Tax, Washington National Tax
Seevun Dunckzar provides tax planning advice to national clients from a wide variety of industries, including technology and life sciences, on inbound and outbound U.S. international tax issues. Seevun has helped clients work through the treatment and classification of controlled foreign corporations and passive foreign investment companies, as well as transfer pricing issues and the consequences of cross-border transfers of intellectual property, among other matters.
Following the 2017 U.S. tax reform, Seevun has also helped clients implement and understand the new tax law, including the Base Erosion Anti-Abuse Tax, and the Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income, and Foreign-Derived Intangible Income regimes.
Prior to joining KPMG, Seevun was a tax associate at Fenwick & West LLP. She has a JD degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School; an LLM degree in public international law, Merit, from London School of Economics; an MSc degree in forced migration, international development from the University of Oxford; and a BA degree in international relations, magna cum laude, from University of Southern California.
