Lia Douglas

Lia Douglas has been with KPMG Chicago for nearly 15 years. During that time, she has had many career opportunities -- beginning as Associate consultant in their Advisory practice and now serving as the Director of Strategy for the Managing Partner. Chief among her responsibilities is to help realize visionary goals - applying blue-sky thinking, an aptitude for problem solving and project management skills to achieve goals, address complex challenges or maximize significant opportunities on behalf of the firm's second largest market. Depending on the day, titles such as Strategist, COO or Chief of Staff may apply, but the need to be versatile, creative, flexible, and achieve results are consistent. Lia finds purpose in making a meaningful contribution to the leadership and strategy of the organization and empowering others to do the same. She is comfortable with fast-paced, highly visible roles that interact with executive leadership; require an ability to lead with influence and authority; act decisively; and require diplomacy. Her time as a consultant honed an approach that reflects a positive, customer-focused orientation with an eagerness to add value, learn and grow.
