Thomas is a Principal in KPMG’s Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice. He leads our Global Mobility practice in Pennsylvania and has over 25 years of experience in mobile employee tax and the broader global mobility arena. He has personally experienced the life of an expatriate and is a veteran of two overseas assignments to Zurich, Switzerland and Paris, France.
He is responsible for a broad range of U.S. multi-national and foreign-owned clients and has delivered a complete range of GMS services including U.S. and host country tax planning, international program and tax reimbursement policy design, and international compensation and benefits consulting. His experience includes national and international tax, payroll reporting obligations, and social security aspects of executive remuneration, international social security issues, tax return preparation, expatriate policy development, and equalization policy design. His current and past clients include leaders in the information technology, not for profit, and financial services, Life sciences, chemicals, and retail industries.
