Thomas (Tom) Daugherty is the Managing Partner of the KPMG Hartford, Connecticut office. Tom has extensive experience in his over 30 year career serving both domestic and international property/casualty and other financial services organizations from KPMG offices in Hartford, Columbus, New York, Richmond, and Munich.
Tom has relevant property/casualty insurance experience that includes mutual insurance organizations; initial and periodic filings with the SEC and in the various regulatory filings of insurance and financial services clients; domestic and international acquisitions and divestitures; GAAP and statutory financial statements and subsidiary matters; and insurance and reinsurance business issues and technical matters.
Tom has led teams domestically as well as in numerous foreign locations including Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, and UK. Throughout his career, he has had regular interaction with the senior management, internal audit, and audit committees for Fortune 100 clients.
Tom is a board member of the Connecticut Science Center and The Village for Families and Children. He earned his Bachelors from Central Connecticut State University.
