Byron Corwin
Office Managing Partner, Audit
Byron is the Office Managing Partner for Oklahoma City, and is an Audit Partner in the KPMG Healthcare Practice. He has been a partner since 2003 and has more than 33 years of experience. Byron has provided audit and audit-related services primarily in the healthcare sector since joining KPMG. He has also served a variety of other industry segments including retail, insurance, consumer markets, manufacturing, and energy. He has been involved in initial public offerings as well as debt and equity offerings. Byron has performed other services for clients including acquisition due diligence, internal control reviews, consulting regarding business projections and budgets, developing and improving internal valuation models, and SEC filings. In addition to serving clients, Byron has served infrastructure roles within KPMG including having served on the KPMG national internal review team, which is responsible for ensuring audit quality within the firm, and the KPMG peer review team, which is responsible for ensuring audit quality within another Big Four firm.
Byron serves on the Advisory Board Executive Committee of Oklahoma State University School of Accounting, the finance committee for the Jenks Public Schools Foundation, and the board of directors of Jenks Youth Baseball. Byron is also so-chair of an Allocations Committee for the Tulsa Area United Way, is a member of the United Way Audit Review Committee, is on the Jenks Bond Issue Task Force, and is Treasurer of the Jenks High School Football Booster Club.
