Tony Circolone

Tony is an audit partner in the Building, Construction and Real Estate practice of the Chicago office, and the Midwest Leader of KPMG’s Asset Management and Building, Construction and Real Estate practices. He has more than 27 years of experience in all sectors of the real estate industry including real estate investment trusts, institutional investors, developers, fund managers, property managers, hospitality companies and real estate service providers.

Tony is a member of KPMG’s national real estate leadership committee and, in his Midwest leadership role, is responsible for overseeing operations, market activities, and the counseling and development of partners. Tony has served a wide variety of real estate clients throughout his career at KPMG, ranging from privately held, emerging companies, to large multinational companies. In addition, Tony serves as an SEC Reviewing Partner for public companies and serves as the Lead Engagement Partner for various global public real estate companies. His experience includes assisting companies with lease accounting, share based compensation, business combinations, implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, and various real estate related industry issues. Tony has extensive experience with initial and secondary public offerings and has international experience in coordinating complex global audits.
