In addition to leading deal teams, Cheresh has also advised clients concerning the tax aspects of spin-offs, internal restructurings, mergers, dispositions, debt restructurings, recapitalizations, completed earnings and profits, asset and stock basis calculations, wrote private letter ruling requests, and opinion letters regarding various corporate income tax matters.
