Tony is a Partner in KPMG’s Accounting Advisory group with more than 14 years of experience providing assurance and advisory services to a global client base of companies across industries with a focus on the telecom, outsourcing, software, and life sciences industries. Tony currently provides accounting advice for various technical topics, financial reporting and support for equity and debt offerings (including initial public offerings). Before joining the Accounting Advisory group Tony worked seven years in KPMG’s audit practice and two years managing KPMG’s relationship with a major private equity firm, coordinating KPMG services provided to that firm and its portfolio companies around the globe.
Tony's recent focus has been on implementations of the new Revenue Recognition guidance (ASU 2014-09) at Fortune 500 companies. These implementations include an overall assessment of the impacts to the client’s financial statements, assistance with IT solution selection and configuration, calculation of transition adjustments, tax impacts and other business impacts.
